Strengths: The official archive of the British Province of the Society of Jesus contains the adminstrative details of the province itself, some of its institutions and many of its members. The archives date from the 16th century, with particularly strong holdings relating to missionary work in Africa, India and South America during the 19th and 20th centuries.
