Strengths: Dundee Central Library offers a wide range of materials, including books, newspapers and periodicals, video and electronic information; its lending services include Adult and Children's departments, and Arts and Audiovisual sections, and its reference services include General Reference, Commerce and Technology, Business Information and Local Studies sections. It is the latter section, the Local Studies department, that holds material of missionary-related interest, namely the Mary Slessor collection of books and letters, relating to the United Presbyterian Church of Scotland missionary who worked in Nigeria.
