Strengths: The Bible Society's Library consists of a collection of some 35,000 copies of the printed Bible in about 2,500 languages, dating from 1466 to the present day. The archives of the Society itself date from its foundation in 1804, and document its work in aiding the translation, printing and distribution of the Bible around the world. In addition there is a small collection of biblical manuscripts, and a small reference library.
