CONTEXT Name of creator(s): Administrative/Biographical history: Gwenfron Moss (b. 1898) was a missionary with the London Missionary Society in North China and India between 1928 and 1964. Custodial history: Immediate source of acquisition: Donated in 1984 and 1989 CONTENT AND STRUCTURE Scope and content/abstract: Letters from Gwenfron Moss to her family written from China, 1928 - 1951 and from India 1953 to 1964; copies of circular letters 1928 - 1983; diaries 1930-38 during the time Miss Moss was stationed in Tientsin at the Mackenzie Memorial Hospital; papers relating to dedication services in 1928; correspondence and papers relating to the London Missionary Society Deputation programme of Miss Moss, and to her engagements while on furlough 1934-35, 1939-41, 1943, 1952; papers relating to broadcasts given by Gwenfron Moss 1966-79; photograph albums (mainly China), and other papers.
