CONTEXT Name of creator(s): Syria and Palestine Relief Fund Administrative/Biographical history: The Syria and Palestine Relief Fund was launched by Rennie MacInnes, assistant Anglican bishop in Jerusalem, in order to relieve distress and provide for hosital missions in Syria and Palestine in 1916. Custodial history: Immediate source of acquisition: Given by the Jerusalem and the East Mission, 1971. CONTENT AND STRUCTURE Scope and content/abstract: The collection comprises papers, including minutes (1916-1918), and newspaper cuttings (1917-1918).
