Leech, RalphIDENTITY STATEMENT
CONTEXT Name of creator(s): Administrative/Biographical history: Dr Ralph Leech was educated at Cambridge University and the University of Wales. He worked at the CMS mission hospital in Mengo, Uganda from 1938 to 1947, and at the CMS hospital, Maseno, Kenya from 1947 to 1962. From 1962 to 1964 he was Medical officer for Uganda. He retired in 1964. His wife, Bertha, was also a medical missionary. Custodial history: The microfilm was made in 1983 Immediate source of acquisition: CONTENT AND STRUCTURE Scope and content/abstract: Microfilm copies of the correspondence of Ralph and Bertha Leech comprising: Circular letters, dated 1948-62, sent by Ralph and Bertha Leech while at Maseno Hospital, Kenya to family and friends.
